Watch Mode repeats the scan while keeping your current results on screen, so you can see when a device appears, changes, drops offline, or comes back.

Stop pressing Scan over and over

Turn on Watch and choose a 5, 10, or 30 second interval. EXP IP Scanner runs another pass after the previous one completes, while the last completed result stays visible. Use Scan now whenever you want the next pass immediately.

See the changes that matter

New devices get a green marker. Devices with meaningful changes get an amber marker. Devices that disappear stay visible with a red Offline marker, which makes rebooting a switch, printer, access point, or workstation much easier to follow.

No noise from normal latency movement

A few milliseconds of latency movement does not count as a change. Watch Mode focuses on useful differences such as hostname, MAC address, manufacturer, open services, and whether the device stopped responding.

Keep a device open while it reboots

The details panel stays tied to the device and shows Watch status with Last seen context. When the device returns, the normal live result replaces the Offline state.

Still a field scanner, not a monitoring platform

Watch Mode is session-only. There is no database, historical chart, alert service, account, or cloud storage. Stop watching and the comparison state disappears.
